Schema Therapy for Personality Disorders
Quick fact
Schema therapy was developed by psychologist Jeffrey Young in the 1990s after he noticed that many patients with personality disorders did not improve with traditional cognitive therapy alone. He integrated attachment and experiential elements to address the emotional roots of their difficulties.
