Superposition

Quick fact

A qubit in superposition can represent both 0 and 1 at the same time, giving quantum computers the ability to process vast numbers of possibilities in parallel.

Why this is interesting

Imagine a spinning coin – is it heads or tails? While it spins, it's both possibilities at once. Quantum superposition is like that, but far stranger: a particle can be in multiple places or energy states simultaneously until you look.
