The Problem of Evil
Quick fact
The problem of evil is often divided into two forms: the logical problem (arguing that God and evil cannot logically coexist) and the evidential problem (arguing that the amount and distribution of evil make God's existence improbable).
Why this is interesting
We've all experienced or witnessed suffering—a natural disaster, a cruel act, a painful illness. If the universe were governed by an all-powerful and perfectly good God, why would such things exist?
